This poor florist. Though I seriously doubt that the GM officials hope is going to happen. My guess is that the florist isn’t getting too many orders and is probably just having their 1-800 line tied up with people who have made an honest mistake.

NASCAR Camping World West Series
My son and I spent the day out at the Miller Motorsports Park watching the NASCAR Camping World West Series and CruiserFest ’09. We were bouncing all around, checking out the Karting, the Museum, the Off Road Course (where CruiserFest was held) and of course the NASCAR racing.
Not only did we see some great racing, but we also saw some pretty cool cars off of the track too. One cool thing that happened was once CruiserFest was over we were walking back to the van and a gentleman asked how far we were walking. We told him and he asked if we’d ride his scooter back to his motor home for him, so he didn’t have to come back down and pick it up. So my son and I got to ride his scooter for a bit and his motor home (seen in background of the photo of the side view GT below) was right near our van, so it all worked out really nicely for us.
It was a lot of fun and we had a great time.
C.A.R.S Program – Suspended?
Ok, maybe it took off a little faster than I had thought it was.
C.A.R.S Program
I’m still undecided about whether I’m going to have my truck smashed but it’s good to see that things are picking up a little for the participating dealers.
Worst Nightmare…
I always worry that things like this are going to happen when we are leaving not only church but any parking lot. It’s why I may at times seem really strict or tough on my kids, when in parking lots or in areas where there are lots of dangers to them. I don’t want anything to happen to them and if that means that I need be neurotic and keep track of them every move, then that’s what I’m going to have to do.
Don’t get my wrong, my heart goes out to this family and I am in no way criticizing them or anyone involved. It’s just things like this that serve as a reminder to me that I need to be ever vigilant with my own children, even if that means sounding like a task master sometimes.
