At least there’s progress…

My only question is what happens if the diaper fills to greater than 100%.  Is there something in the code that instantiates the bath object?

You have to love this shirt.  At least they are telling it like it is.

Products that stand out to me…

Filed under: Marketing — Muncey @ 9:09 pm

Lately I’ve seen a few new (well new to me) products that I’ve snapped a quick photo of on my phone and thought that I’d comment on here.

So rather than a rather a lengthy single post about all of them, I’m going to post one a day over the next several days, or if I get distracted, I’ll just post them until I run out of products.

Annoying Ad Campaign…

Filed under: Marketing — Muncey @ 5:54 pm

I’ve been hearing this annoying radio spot lately.  It’s an obnoxious “yell sale” type guy talking about how you can practice making an embarrassing phone call from jail because you received a DUI.

It’s the 1-877-Jail-Fon Ads.  It’s obnoxious on so many levels, but I remembered it and here I am talking about it so it must have been effective in some way, especially since I don’t drink and thus the likelihood of me getting a DUI are pretty slime (unless of course consuming too many ounces of Chocolate Milk can somehow impair ones ability to drive).

Now I find out that UHP is part of the force behind it and I’m honestly wondering who signed off on those marketing funds.

I like this!

I think this for a couple of reasons.

The first being that I was at the midnight showing last night (well technically this morning) with my children.  I’m not a Harry Potter fan, but my kids are and I thought that they would enjoy it.  I’ve seen exactly one other Harry Potter movie and that was because we saw it as a company at my previous employer.  I had to keep asking my son to who the different characters were.

After working all day yesterday, a full evening of meetings, Harry Potter throughout most of the night, 3.5 hours of sleep and working all day today, I’m exhausted.

The other part that I really like about that link is that I currently work for the LHM Group of Companies and I really like to see our companies do well.  So to see that we had 1/3 of the top 15 Theaters in the nation for the Harry Potter opening is awesome.

Now, I’m going to bed.
