Another one for my Sister(s)…

Filed under: Being "Consistent" — Muncey @ 2:42 pm

I drink a lot of milk.  I’m not talking about just my family, but we as a family do go through a lot of milk.  I’m talking specifically about me.  Anyone who knows me knows this.

But I don’t think that everyone knows that I have to put the milk in a certain spot in the fridge.  If I go to put the milk away and there is something in the milk’s spot I have to rearrange everything so that the milk can fit into it’s proper location.

When in doubt….count…

Filed under: Being "Consistent" — Muncey @ 9:13 pm

Here we go again with another post about how I’m “consistent” (I’m still waiting for my sister’s ten things).

I count everything around me.  Well maybe not everything, but I count a lot of things.  It’s not just once either, I count them all the time.

For example, there are 12 panes in one of the windows in my bedroom.  I count it at least once every night while I lay in bed before I go to sleep.  At one point we had shelves in our bedroom and I would count how many shelves there were too.  For the record, there were also 12.

When in the Bishopric, I would sit on the stand and count the number of lights in the chapel and cultural hall.  Yes, I would do it during the meeting, no the meetings weren’t that boring…usually.  No I don’t want to be the Asst. Ward Membership Clerk.

The funny thing is that I don’t count them one at a time, nope I have to count in twos.  If there aren’t a even set of what I’m counting I usually count it over and over and over again hoping that the total number has changed.

I’m going to blame this one on my inner percussionist.
