97° And Falling Fast…

If all goes well, I will be riding this sometime this summer. While my back may not appreciate it, I’m really looking forward to it.

I swear that someone has kidnapped my sweet innocent loving daughter and replaced her with her evil twin.

Scouting for Food…

Filed under: Scouting — Muncey @ 4:02 pm

Today was the annual Scouting for Food drive.  The scouts in our area collected more this year than they have in previous years, which was really cool to see.

When we dropped everything off at the collection site, the trailer was filling up fast, which is what it’s all about.

Wrong on so many levels…

Filed under: Marketing — Muncey @ 11:33 am

I saw this Web Ad on a local news website today.  The lady bounces in and out of the frame and the idea is that you’re to take a photo of her.

To me this an example of yet another poor web marketing campaign.

On a regular basis my kids are required to browse the local news websites and bring in an article to class.  This is actual assigned homework.

The last thing that I want is my children having this popup on websites that they are browsing and start trying to play the “game”.

Stepping up…

Filed under: Kids — Muncey @ 10:42 am

Earlier this week my wife had to have a procedure that has kept her down for a few days.  Fortunately I’ve been able to work from home and help take care of her and the kids.

Trying to be both the Mommy and the Daddy all while also trying to get work done has kept me busy and I’ve just had to let some things go around the house.

Mainly the Mountains of laundry that are just waiting to be done.  So imagine my surprise when I went into the laundry room for something else and the washing machine was running.

I was sure that my wife hadn’t done it and I know that I hadn’t, so I asked the kids if one of them was doing laundry.

Without missing a beat and without evening looking up for the game they were playing my Red Head says “I am”.

Wow, I have the best kids in the world :D
