One Reason…

It’s good to hear about things like this.  It gives me hope for the future.

It’s also one of the reasons that I’m involved with the Boy Scouts of America.

Too much press…

Isn’t this more than what she usually wears while on stage or even while out in public?

So I’m a little confused as to why this is even news.

The High Kings & Celtic Woman

This group opened for Celtic Woman last night in Salt Lake.  They are actually pretty good.  They are kind of like an Irish Kingston Trio, so if you’re into that kind of music, check them out.

I went home and immediately bought their CD on iTunes and have been listening to it at work today.

Celtic Woman were great too.  I’m probably one of the stranger Celtic Woman fans out there.  I’ve actually never seen the PBS special(s).  I had actually heard about them through other means and just decided to check out their music one day.

I always forget how small Kingsbury Hall really is, but it’s a great place for a concert like that.  I also enjoy walking across campus this time of year.  Long before I was a student there I had spent time there, then of course I was an employee and student there for quite a while, so it brings back a lot of memories to be up there.  Of course, not having to study for finals this week makes it much nicer.

The greatest thing about last night was being able to get away from the kids, go to dinner (The Pie) with and spend some time with my wife and parents (Thanks again for going with us Mom & Dad) along with enjoying a good concert.  All of which I don’t get to do nearly enough.

5th in 18 months…

Filed under: Kids — Muncey @ 9:52 am

My wife just called and our daughter’s glasses are broken beyond repair again.

This is something like 5 pairs in the last 18 months.  This girl is going to put me into the poor house with glasses repairs alone.  I love her to death but just wish that she’d be able to keep a pair for longer than a few months.

Our one saving grace is our FSA account.

My Mario Addiction?

My latest purchase.  Shhh….my wife doesn’t know about it.
