Back to the Future…

Filed under: History,U.S. Civil War — Muncey @ 7:52 pm

If only I could borrow the Delorean, I’d high tail it to Gettysburg, PA and punch in the date of June 30, 1863.

I’m not sure that it would have been possible to just watch and not been thrust into action, but it would have been cool and yet heartbreaking to have been able to see and hear history in the making.

I guess that I’ll have to settle for watching the Hollywood version.

What!? Now Huntsman!?

Filed under: Life — Muncey @ 6:46 pm

I actually find this kind of funny and unfortunate at the same time.

With so many Politicians getting into trouble these days it’s probably hard to keep all of the names straight.

So when you’ve got one that for the most part has kept his nose clean and something like this happens, it makes me chuckle.

Though I’m sure it may have made for a tense couple of minute conversation with his wife.

Something that I need to do more about…

Filed under: Technology — Muncey @ 8:37 pm

I have my Amateur Radio License, I just haven’t done anything about it yet.

I don’t have a radio (yet) and have never actually broadcast (yet).

All something that I need to do something about.

Maybe next year, I’ll participate try to participate in the Annual Field Day.

Ouch…

Filed under: Guns — Muncey @ 11:33 am

My son and I went shooting this morning.  Now we both have bruised shoulders.  I really need to do something about that gun.

The nice thing was that I scored higher than I ever have on the first 2 rounds, 20 out of 25 and 22 out of 25.  I shot a 3rd round and probably shouldn’t have because I was ready to leave and didn’t much care about my score, but I still got a 17, which is about average for me.

Ya think!?

Filed under: Life — Muncey @ 11:58 pm

Seriously?  I don’t think that I’ve heard about one for at least a day or two.

Ok, I’ll knock off the sarcasm.  What is with some people.  With this guy it was like he disappears for a few days (over Father’s day nonetheless), then comes home and almost immediately admits to an affair and has so far not stepped down as Governor of South Carolina.

Is our society that messed up?  If nothing else, I see this guy as a serious security threat to his own state and even possibly the United States at this point.

Ok, I’ll shut up before I start rambling even more.
