I kind of agree...

I have to say that I kind of agree with the changes in the Nevada state law here. I like that you have to qualify, though I know a lot of people don't always have the gun that they are going to carry before they have their permit. I know that some Utah Instructors require that their students go to the range with them and shoot before they will sign off on their paperwork, which I think is a step in the right direction. What I don't particularly like is the idea of giving someone a concealed firearms permit who may have never handled a firearm.  Even 15 minutes of experience and training is more than what some people are getting before they have their permit. What I don't like is that right now Utah permit holders have to leave their firearm in their car when in Nevada.
