Isn't this a no brainer?

Researchers say too much cola can be bad for your health It seems that if you just wait 5 minutes, there will be a new study published that tells you that too much of something is bad for your health.  To me that just makes sense.  Too much of anything has got to be bad for you in one way or another, right? What amazes me in this story is the part about the 21 year old woman and her health problems.  It says hat she drank up to 7 liters of cola a day for 10 months, as a result she "developed fatigue, appetite loss, excessive vomiting and a heart blockage". Let's do some quick math here.  I'm going to assume that every day she drank 7 liters.  I realize that the article says "up to 7 liters" but I'm going to assume the worst because well I can and it makes the story sound better. According to the story, 1 liter is equal to 33.8 ounces.  So 7 liters would be equal to 236.6 ounces.  There are 128 ounces in a gallon, so that's 1.84 gallons of Cola a day. In 10 months there are roughly 300 days, give or take a few.  That's 552 gallons (Sorry, I'm American I think in Gallons) of Cola in 10 months time. Now let's just backup a little.  As I mentioned that's 236.6 ounces per day.  Let's assume that this person is awake for 16 hours per day (which also assumes a full 8 hours sleep cycle). If they were drinking 12 ounce cans of Cola, they would be drinking 19.71 cans (we'll round to 20, because is someone drinking that much per day really going to let .29 of a can go to waste, I don't think so) per day.  Yes, that's slightly more tan 3 six packs per day. So 20 cans per day in 16 hours is one can every 48 minutes. Yeah, I can see how that would cause health problems.  Just for the record, I suspect that it's not just Cola.  I think that if anyone were to drink anything this much, they would have some kind of medical problem.
