[hidepost]I just installed a new plugin that allows me to protect posts from the general public, but allows those with user accounts to see them. I installed this so that I can speak a little more openly and directly about subjects (kids names, locations, etc.) to those that I know (meaning those who have accounts) and not have it for all of the www to see.
