Seriously?  $40 million? Cash Flow Problems? You can't be serious? Ok, so I enjoy a good Broadway musical every so often, but this just doesn't sound like a good idea to me, but what do I know.

Recently my wife and I attended the Celtic Woman Isle of Hope concert.  We saw them last time that they were in Salt Lake so many of the songs were familiar, but a few were new and quite good. This song was one of them and I honestly can't wait for it to be released on Digital Download in a few weeks.  Now if they would just also release the Isle of Hope song too.

This looks awesome! I've always been more of a Blue Devils fan myself, there's no question how my scoresheet would be filled out.

I have an iPod Shuffle that I've been using lately.  I loaded it with a bunch of music and have been using it in the car as I drive. I think that it's got a bit of a problem though.  About every third song is an Erasure song. The funny this is that there are 206 songs on it and only 33 of them are Erasure.  If my Math is correct, that's only 1/6th of the total songs that are Erasure and yet a full 1/3 of the songs played are.  Strange.

My toddler loves to sing.  The little one is always belting out some tune. Lately, I'll hear "The Boys are Back....The Boys are back" or "Can I have this dance..." (psst...they are songs from the High School Musical 3 soundtrack) all throughout the house. I wonder if it's too soon for Voice and Dance lessons :D

As a former member of the University of Utah Marching Band/Drumline I would love to see them go to this.  I'm a bit jealous though.  First the Sugar Bowl now the Inauguration this month. So if you've got a $150,000 just laying around the house, you now know what to do with it.

Suddenly my Friday evening has opened up quite substantially. Or wait....never mind. This is me being a good husband (I really do love my wife) for her allowing me to go shooting (soon). I can't say much, I've not read the books so I have no idea what to expect.  Maybe I'll be a huge fan come Saturday morning and start reading the books, but somehow I doubt it.

After dinner tonight my son came up to my room with some news. His band teacher (who was also my band teacher back in the day) has asked him to play percussion.  The funny thing is that this band teacher asked me to do the same thing over 20 years ago. He will still play the Trumpet but will also be playing some percussion now. So last night after he told me this, we broke out my old practice pad and bag of sticks/mallets.  I gave him a few pointers and he practiced for pretty much the rest of the night.

I seem to remember being so much less stressed when I played.  Of course, I drove my family crazy with my constant drumming.  Now we know that it was really just me relieveing my stress :D
