Utah 35 - Utah State 17 I'm happy that they won but I seriously doubt that they duplicate the success of last year.  Too many people gone and too many holes to fill.

Since we were gone this week, we celebrated the birthday (and since everyone was gathered at church for him today anyway) today. His two favorite gifts?  A cookbook and this...

You have to like it when ticket sales are good.  Now let's just hope that they have a good season too.

As a University of Utah fan, I obviously like it when they do well.  I try not to be obnoxious about it, because I hate obnoxious fans of any school or sport, but this story makes me happy. Mostly because there were several rough years of being a Utah Basketball fan and I'm really hoping that this means that they are heading in the right direction and that they become more and more competitive with each year.

This is something that I like to see.  Of course, I'm not naive enough to think that they are going to top last season, but at least they're going to have some good crowds there to support them (at least they better). I hope to be to as many games as I can be to.

Runnin' Utes (both the men and the women) win the MWC Tournament and are headed to the NCAA Tournament.

This makes me happy.

As a former member of the University of Utah Marching Band/Drumline I would love to see them go to this.  I'm a bit jealous though.  First the Sugar Bowl now the Inauguration this month. So if you've got a $150,000 just laying around the house, you now know what to do with it.

Utes Win!!! 31-17 over Alabama (the #1 team for 5 weeks this season) to end the season 13-0. The "U" is burning brightly in our window tonight.
